The Digital Literacy Project began in the ICT Programme ETB Overcrowding in order to teach people the productive use of Internet by offering training courses in Computer Science, Entrepreneurship, Online Democracy, children's programs, which have allowed people access to formal education opportunities and to obtain skills and abilities that enhance their job skills. The courses are designed to engage children, youth and older adults who, for example, have identified ICT an opportunity to communicate with relatives in other cities or countries.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Contribute to improving quality of life of the inhabitants of the locality of Ciudad Bolivar, by developing a strategy to offer education and training content that will generate added value to the use of technology by citizens, businesses, institutions, social organizations, among others.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

1. Promote the use, management and appropriation of ICT by providing training content to the community.

2. Increasing widespread use, regular and productive of information technology through the processes of developing training in Portales.

3. Provide training opportunities to help improve the conditions of specific population groups such as the business sector.

4. Teaching the productive use of technology for the development of industrial activities, academic and social.

5. Provide opportunities for access to the population through telecommunication and information services offered by portals.
